Sachajuan Hair Repair Review

Sachajuan Hair Repair Review

Hello again!

I don’t ask for a lot from a conditioner. Make my hair soft and I’m happy. But lately, due to a combo of the cold weather, my laziness, and eating mince pies for breakfast every day in December (I regret nothing), it is looking rather lacklustre.

My hair

My hair is long, thick and has a slight wave. It is also dry, can lack shine and is prone to split ends. I wash it once a week which I get away with because I don’t use styling products. Just the little blob of Frizz Ease when its dripping wet and that’s me done. Pretty low maintenance.I normally use Aussie Miracle Moist shampoo and their 3 minute Miracle (you know the one) and it works but when I noticed that it wasn’t making a difference, I decided to venture out my comfort zone and try something new.

Sachajuan Hair Repair – what is it?

Sachajuan Hair Repair - £23 (250 ml)

“Lock out frizz with Hair Repair intensive conditioning treatment for dry, brittle and stressed tresses, featuring Sachajuan’s famous ‘broth’ of proteins & mineral extracts from sea algae. It promotes cell regeneration in your scalp encouraging regrowth and nourishes the hair shaft to restore shine and vitality to locks that are looking a little lacklustre. It’s also a brilliant frizz tamer and encourages unruly, rebellious hair to bend to your wishes for ease of styling and a glossy swoosh.

I struck gold a few weeks ago when I read about Sachajuan Hair Repair – £23 (250 ml) on one of my favourite websites EVER; http://www.cultbeauty.co.uk.

No need to think about it, I was sold, this was bought and it wouldn’t be long until I had the hair of my dreams.

The yays

This is the stuff of dreams. I slathered it on, waited 15 minutes because I like to leave it in longer than it says and I was rewarded with the glossiest hair ever. It was soft and I felt like it had actually fixed something IN my hair rather than just add a glaze. The shine lasted for a few days and it was so so soft and bouncy that I was swishing and flicking it at every opportunity, lapping up the compliments and generally thinking I was a Disney princess. If you have dry hair, or colour your hair a lot then you should get this because it is really really good and I am planning to just stock up next time Cult Beauty has a discount code going on.

The nays

The smell is not great…I just didn’t like it. It is fresh but just not “Aussie/Herbal Essencey” . Also, it is pricey and for £23, you could get a hair trimmed by a junior at some top hairdressers and fix the problem that way. However, if you google it, then I am sure you can get this at a decent price from another website, if not Cult. For dry/coloured/damaged hair, I would highly recommend this.
